Voting is now open for the 7th Annual G.A.N.G. Awards! Awards Ceremony to Take Place Thursday, March 26th, 2009 During Game Developers Conference in San Francisco LOS ANGELES, CA (February 16th, 2009) – The Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.), the non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and recognition of game audio, announced the finalists for the 7th Annual G.A.N.G. Awards to honor outstanding creative, technical and artistic audio achievement in the world of interactive entertainment. Voted and judged upon by the game audio industry and members of G.A.N.G., this year’s finalists represent an array of the best audio in games from 2008. Over 2,000 people representing over 30 countries have signed up as members of G.A.N.G. since its inception in 2002. "What an amazing time for game audio,” said Tommy Tallarico, G.A.N.G. Founder, CEO and Chairman. “Each year it gets more difficult for the 50 person G.A.N.G. Advisory Board to chose the final nominees from the hundreds of amazing entries.” G.A.N.G. President Paul Lipson added, "By gathering input from our North American, European Union, and Asian Advisory Board members - this was truly an international process from the start. The level of talent around the world is extremely high, and being voted as a final nominee is a remarkable accomplishment."Winners will be announced at the 7th Annual G.A.N.G. Awards ceremony being held on Thursday, March 26th, 2009 in San Francisco, CA during the Game Developers Conference.
