Tina C. Wang
Tina is a composer and pianist from Taiwan. She started playing piano around the age of 4 and starting to compose when she was 8 years old. After she obtained her bachelor degree in Music Composition, she worked in the Asian music industry for 15 years as a composer, music director, and producer. Her composing experience includes music for orchestra, musicals, advertisement, film, television, and video games. She has toured the world as the lead pianist playing in over 150 concerts for the Asian pop singer, Show Lo, performing for over 2 million people worldwide including Ceasars Palace Las Vegas. Beijing Cadilac arena, Sydney Acer Arena, Hong Kong Coliseum ext.Tina graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) Screen Scoring program under the mentor of Bruce Broughton and Laura Karpman. At USC Tina was honored with the Georges Delerue Conductor Award. She worked as an assistant conductor for the 2016 Hollywood “Women who score concert” hosted by the Alliance for Women film composers. She continues to work internationally and you can hear her latest work at the 2018 Chinese Web Series ” Moonshine and Valentine “Directed by Leste Chen. This Web Series hit 3 billion views till present. Tina had a pleasure to score for the most popular Chinese band “Mayday” world tour concert movie on May.26.2019.
