The Motive Battlefield team is looking for an Audio Artist for World
audio. As a World Audio Artist, you will help contribute to our game’s
overall sound quality, aesthetics and vision. You will work within our
sound team to design and integrate ambience quads, spots, destruction
sounds, and much more. You will help give life to the environments our
players immerse themselves in.

You will have a passion for video games, a desire to create
world-class audio and an ability to bring the best out of their team
members and peers.

What you’ll do:

  • Use a DAW to design, edit, name and organize sound files
  • Work within the FrostEd game editor to import, and organize and
    tweak audio assets
  • Set up visual scripting logic to trigger assets in the
    engine
  • Participate in location sound recording sessions: sound effects,
    Foley, ambience.
  • Test and quality control of in-game audio assets
  • Take direction from the Lead Audio Designer and World audio team,
    and work as a positive and productive member of the project

Must Have:

  • Passion to collaborate and solve complex creative and technical
    challenges in the pursuit of creating an incredibly engaging sonic
    experience for our players

You Will Have:

  • Two years’ experience as an Audio Artist or Sound Designer
    working in the Games or Film industries
  • BA, Technical School Degree, or equivalent work experience in
    Sound Design or Recording Arts
  • In-depth knowledge of audio theory and sound design practices;
    includes knowledge of waveform editing, equalization, compression,
    mixing, or plug ins.
  • Proficiency with audio software such as Reaper, Nuendo, Pro
    Tools, Sound Forge, Vegas, Cubase, or Logic.
  • Proficiency with audio plug in software such as Waves, FabFilter,
    iZotope, or Soundtoys.
  • Experience with sound library use and management
  • Proficiency in authoring 5.1 surround sound mixes (background
    ambiences, world building sound effects)
  • Experience or knowledge of audio game development tools, such as
    Wwise, FMOD, Metasounds or other proprietary editors
  • Technical proficiency. Knowledge or experience with any visual

  • Experience using a Digital Audio Worksystem (DAW) such as Reaper,

Wavyrn is a Boston-based audio post-production studio specializing in
multimedia. Founded in 2024 by recent graduates of Berklee College of
Music and Suffolk University, Wavyrn is a team of contracted composers,
sound designers, voice-over producers, mixing and mastering engineers,
and other audio professionals.

As a collective of independent contractors, we collaborate with
clients and subcontractors across the globe, delivering audio and
production services for film, short film, games, theme parks, podcasts,
and other forms of media. Our team’s work has been featured in and
contributed to multiple award-winning projects.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Under the direction of Wavyrn’s co-founders and administrative team,
the Executive Assistant will support the studio in its day-to-day
operations and long-term administrative functions. The Executive
Assistant will work closely with the co-founders, production teams, and
clients in managing contracts, coordinating communications, maintaining
documentation, and streamlining processes. From handling invoices and
itineraries to conducting research and preparing outreach materials, the
Executive Assistant will help keep the studio running smoothly.

This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to
detail, strong writing skills, and an eagerness to take initiative. An
ideal candidate will have the ability to adapt to a wide variety of
tasks in a creative entertainment setting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Legal

  • Prepares, reviews, and manages contracts, agreements, and other
    legal documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable

    procedures, and internal documents.
  • Proofreads and formats legal and business correspondences with

  • Legal and Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with U.S. business
    regulations, contracts, and documentation standards.

While Wavyrn generally remains flexible with business hours and

works and meets with clients ranging from Asia to Europe. There may be
occasional times—especially during active projects—when timely

to messages in these instances helps ensure smooth project execution,
