In contest for “Coolest Guy in Game Audio”, Richie Nieto has just finished a month long contract gig at EA Salt Lake, designing and implementing sound, plus writing music for three new Nintendo DS titles from Hasbro’s Littlest Pet Shop series. This will be his 6th EA title! Here’s more about it from EA.

Badass solo bass extraodinaire GANG member, Jeff Schmidt just completed sound design work on Blizzard’s World of Warcraft “Cataclysm”. LAVABALLZ!

Dan Rudin of Musicgamestudio.com (and GANG) has new tunes posting to the ROCK BAND NETWORK, including some crazy bit of note tracking for this Andy Timmons tune

Everyone’s pal at GANG, Sean Beeson has been announced as the composer for both Reaper (Fried Green Apps – Mecho Wars devs) and Bounty Arms (Open Reset Games). Plus, he just had a birthday! Congrats Sean! And here’s more about REAPER and more about Bounty Arms

Jeff Essex was a featured speaker and judge at the 10th Annual Flash Festival, hosted by West Liberty University in West Virginia. Entries came from over 20 colleges in six states, in categories that included Interactive Games, Experimental Video and Electronic Music. Jeff was joined by Robert St. Pierre (Production Designer for Disney Feature Animation, with credits on “9” and “Princess and the Frog”) along with Christian D’Andrea (VP of Production for Quentin Tarantino’s “A Band Apart”).
