Call For Submissions GDC 2011


The call for submissions to present lectures, panels, roundtables, tutorials and poster sessions at the 2011 Game Developers Conference (GDC) is open through Wednesday, August 25!

GDC is back to its Monday-Friday schedule and will be held Feb. 28-March 4, 2011 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.

Please review the guidelines and topics prior to submitting in any of the six tracks: Audio, Business & Management, Design, Production, Programming, and Visual Arts.

Note: if you are interested in submitting for any of the GDC Summits, the call for submission will be made available in the fall. Do not submit a proposal to main GDC.

G.A.N.G. Summer Barbeque at Tommy’s!

August 14th, 2010 is the GANG BBQ at Tommy’s in SoCal!

Noon until midnight! The Game Audio Network Guild is featuring the "Network" part of it’s name this August at the smokin’ hot SoCal BBQ party: open to ALL
members of the Game Audio Network Guild! GANG will provide burgers,
hotdogs, snacks, sodas and you can bring your favorite side dish/
dessert, and/or your own preferred drinks to share. Last year even
featured some delicious, catered vegetarian options!

Bring your acoustic instruments for jamming and swim trunks for the pool. Arcade, video games, pool table, foosball, slot machines & movie theatre will also be available for your entertainment. And of course there are sure to be some great raffle prizes!
