Simon Poole is a Toronto based musician and composer for film, television, games and advertising. Simon is a multi instrumentalist who has performed for over 25 years as a choral singer, jazz saxophonist and rock guitarist. Recently he has completed scoring seasons 1 and 2 of Fear Thy Neighbor, airing on Discovery Canada, Investigation Discovery (US) and TruTV (UK).
In addition to studying audio engineering at Toronto’s Harris Institute for the Arts and film scoring at UCLA, Simon briefly worked as an assistant at Remote Control Productions in Santa Monica. In 2010 he returned to Toronto and has since been working with local studios and filmmakers in multiple genres, scoring award winning films and cult TV series. Simon plays in Toronto rock band The Dying Arts, represented by United Talent Agency and signed to Culvert Music.
