GANG 2010 Summer Summit with VALVE

Joining us all the way from Seattle, we’re pleased to welcome members of the Valve Team!

Valve Software is widely regarded as one of the world’s premiere game developers. With a list of credits that include games on nearly everyone’s lifetime Top 10 list, including the renowned Half Life series, Portal, Team Fortress, Counterstrike, and the Steam network, many consider Valve to be in an echelon all their own in the field of modern game development & publishing.

On Thursday July 8th, Pyramind Studios, GANG, and DTS are proud to welcome them for the 2010 edition of the annual GAME AUDIO NETWORK GUILD SUMMER SUMMIT. Last year’s event (video) was a huge success, featuring top audio directors from Sony Computer Entertainment, Electronic Arts, and LucasArts. This year hopes to build on that with yet another outstanding discussion about the field of game audio today.

Joining us all the way from Seattle, we’re pleased to welcome from the Valve Team:

Tim Larkin

Bill Van Buren

Kelly Thornton
Mike Morasky

They’ll be sharing their experiences, wisdom, and insight about the audio development process for Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2!

Immediately following the presentation and panel discussion, Pyramind Studios and GANG will be hosting a Summer GANG Hang. Plus, both Left 4 Dead titles will be fully playable up on the big screen, as well as in Pyramind’s 5.1 surround sound mixing studio.
