There’s lots going on in GHOST RECON world! Tom Salta recently scored UBIsoft’s GHOST RECON: FUTURE SOLDIER (for XBOX 360/PS3), and Dren McDonald scored/sound designed/audio directed UBIsoft’s GHOST RECON COMMANDER (for Facebook). The games were launched together and players can use UBIsoft’s Uplay to unlock items/weapons in Future Soldier by playing Commander and vice versa.
Speaking of Dren (since no one else sends in their news…yes, send me your announcements!) he recently released a non-game EP of songs that were written for a musical theater piece (The Barbary Coast) commissioned by Berkeley Rep (previously responsible for musicals such as Passing Strange, and Green Day’s American Idiot). The musical never saw the light of day (at least not so far) so four songs were remixed/reworked and recently released. There are still some free downloads available over here at bandcamp
