My name is Allen Antoine. I am a graduate of the University of Memphis, having earned my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Music Business with a Concentration in Recording Technology and a Minor in Music. I recently moved to the San Francisco Bay Area so that I may continue making steps towards achieving one of my lifelong dreams which is working in game audio with Martin O’Donnell at Bungie Studios. Very ambitious, I know. My plan is to attend Ex’pression Digital Arts College in Emeryville, CA to pick up all the skills I don’t already have, and then somehow find my way into actual work in the field. I’ve been playing games since I was a small boy, but the thing that inspired me to strive for a career in game audio was Martin O’Donnell’s work on Halo and its sequels. I have been playing the saxophone for 10 years now and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. I have some formal composition training, so between that and my extensive knowledge of some composition software like Finale, I have the ability to write decent enough music on my own. I love games, I love music, and I love learning new things. I’m very excited to be making new connections in the game audio world and look forward to meeting everyone I can.
