Bio

Award-winning composer Billy Martin writes music for film, television, and videogames. His clients include Disney, Universal, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, and Sony Online.
For television, Billy wrote the theme for the long-running celebrity interview show Entertainers featuring Byron Allen. He has contributed songs and music for feature films including Spiderman 2 and Selena while television series from The Mentalist to How I Met Your Mother have also featured his music.
For videogames, his work on the Ubisoft Rayman series has garnered multiple awards and nominations: Rayman Legends (AIAS Award, Outstanding Acheivement in Music Composition; GMO Award, Best Soundtrack), Rayman Fiesta Run (GANG Award, Best Handheld Audio). Billy also contributed music to Rayman Origins and Rayman Jungle Run.

A six-time GANG Award nominee, the Game Audio Network Guild presented Billy with a 2002 GANG Award for his score to the PC game Disney/Pixar Learning w/Buzz Lightyear. Other more recent scores include Finding Dory: Just Keep Swimming and Planes: Fire and Rescue for Disney Interactive.

Billy graduated with honors from Indiana University, where he studied music composition with John Eaton, Bernard Heiden, and Fred Fox. He has also studied conducting with Bill Kettering.
