Courtney Schumaker is currently a student at Michigan Technological University pursuing a degree in Sound Design with minors in Music Composition and German. While creating music and sound is where her interests primarily lie, she also enjoys learning about and feels comfortable with the technical side of things. Outside of her interest in sound and music she has a strong passion for intercultural relations, specifically between the United States and Germany. She has spent time working and studying in both countries, speaks fluent German in addition to her native English, and hopes to be able to integrate this aspect of her interesst into her future career as a Sound Designer as well. Additional hobbies and interests of hers include jogging, arts and crafts, thai boxing, and reading, amongst many other things.
