Michel Barengo, born 1982, has a Master degree in Composing for Film, Theater and Media and a degree with distinction in Jazz Drumming.
He is a award winning composer and works for video games, theater projects, movies and audio/video installations. His music where used by HBO, NBC, Disney Research Lab, Porsche Racing, EMI Production Music, Disney Research Lab and many others. He continues to perform live on stage in a number of projects like the Jazzcore Trio „Platypus“ or the recently founded Jazzcore Band „Five Pound Pocket Universe“ with performances in Europe, China and Japan.
Michel Barengo’s style of composition stands out through its inclusion of many different genres and its capability of creating a broad range of moods.
