Orfeas is a sound designer/engineer and the CEO and founder of Krotos. Krotos’ audio software ‘Dehumaniser’ is being used by top film and game studios worldwide including Skywalker Sound, Sony, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Microsoft, Sega, WB Games, Bioware, 20th Century Fox, Disney, Pinewood Studios and FOX and has been used is numerous games and films.

Orfeas has also worked for commercials, short films, indie video games, TV shows and documentaries as a sound designer, engineer, editor and composer. He holds a degree in Music Technology and Acoustics and an MSc in Sound Design from the University of Edinburgh.

Orfeas has been awarded the Young Edge award and Edge Higgs award for his work with Krotos and Dehumaniser, and is an Enterprise Fellow at Royal Society of Edinburgh. He is also the lead guitarist of the band The Number 9s, a bit of geek and lives in Edinburgh. He is originally from Greece and frequently complains about the Scottish weather.
