SurCode Joins Compressor 3 Encoding Platform

 SurCodeTM for Dolby® Pro Logic II and SurCode for DVD-DTS® Support Final Cut Studio and Logic Studio

 Minnetonka, MN – October 13th, 2008 – Minnetonka Audio Software, Inc. (MASI) announces plans to support the Compressor 3 production application with SurCode for Dolby Pro Logic II and SurCode for DVD-DTS plug-ins. Sneak-peek demonstrations were on display at the 125th Audio Engineering Society Convention in San Francisco, October 3-5.

Compressor 3, already rich with industry-standard codec’s such as MPEG-2 and H.264, is a powerful batch processing application designed to deliver multiple distribution formats from a single project. Final Cut Studio and Logic Studio users will have the option to expand from Dolby Digital only, to Pro Logic II and DVD-DTS with the addition of SurCode plug-ins to the Compressor 3 suite.
