Student Game Developers Seek Audio Help (Santa Clara)

The UC Santa Cruz Games and Playable Media Master’s Program has invited members of GANG, especially students, recent grads and emerging talent to come listen to the game pitches from this year’s student teams. Each team has to finish a game project as their main focus of coursework for the program, and are looking for audio help from the GANG membership. Last year resulted in 2 fabulous student games (Tremble and The Two Eyes in Team), with teams working in FMOD and Unity for real life experience in game development. GANG Members local to the SF Bay Area are encouraged to attend.

The UCSC Silicon Valley Campus is located in Santa Clara at 2505 Augustine Drive, near Great America and Levi Stadium. The Games and Playable Media Master’s Program is directed by game design veterans John Romero (id Software, Doom, Dangerous Dave, Ravenwood Fair, Quake etc) and Brenda Romero (Train, Jagged Alliance 1 & 2, Wizardry 1-8 etc).

Presentations begin at 7:30 and pizza and beverages will be available after presentation during mingling and chatting.
